Sale November 6-8

The Friends of the Marin county Free Library will hold a November Clearance Weekend of used books and other materials at the Book Place, located at 1608 Grant Avenue, near 7th Street in Novato, November 6-8. Enjoy 50% off the already-low prices on nearly everything in the sotre, including books, videos and other materials.

With books starting at 25 cents and up this is a great time to pick up some great reads for you, or get a head start on gift ideas for those on your list. And what better way to support the County Library branches?

The sale begins Friday morning, and runs through the weekend; pre-selection of books prior to the start of the sale will not be permitted. Sale hours through the weekend are Friday, 10 am-7 pm; Saturday 10 am-4 pm, and Sunday, noon-4 pm. Cash or check only, please. No credit cards. Senior discount does not apply during the sale.

Mon, Tues, Thurs, Sat: 10-4
Wed: 12-4, Fri: 10-7
Sundays: 12-4 (Bargain Sunday is 12-4, the first Sunday of the month) The Book Place is operated by the Friends of the Marin County Free Library, a nonprofit volunteer organization. All proceeds are used for special programs, needs, and materials for the Marin County Free Libraries. Donations are welcome. We accept books, media and software. No donation is too large or too small. (Please no magazines, textbooks, Readers digest Condensed Books, or records.) Donations may be delievered to our shop during regular business hours.
