The Book Place

Our used book shop at 1608 Grant in Novato is a popular destination for book lovers and bargain hunters. You''l find books in every category--fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, children's books, collector's items and muchy more. You'll also find CDs, videos, audiobooks, and computer software. The shop is open six days a week and has unbeatable prices, with books starting at just a quarter. We're staffed entirely by volunteers, and new members can find volunteer opportunities there, too. Mon, Tues, Thurs, Sat: 10-4
Wed: 12-4, Fri: 10-7
Sundays: 12-4 (Bargain Sunday is 12-4, the first Sunday of the month) The Book Place is operated by the Friends of the Marin County Free Library, a nonprofit volunteer organization. All proceeds are used for special programs, needs, and materials for the Marin County Free Libraries. Donations are welcome. We accept books, media and software. No donation is too large or too small. (Please no magazines, textbooks, Readers digest Condensed Books, or records.) Donations may be delievered to our shop during regular business hours.
