Special Reception with Greg Mortensen, author of Three Cups of Tea
Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditorium
On Thursday, February 19, the Marin County Library Foundation welcomes Greg Mortenson, the co-author of
Three Cups of Tea: One Man's Mission to Promote Peace...One School at a Time, to a fundraising reception in the Green Room
prior to his 8 pm presentation in the Marin Veterans' Memorial Auditiorium. Library supporters are invited to come as early as
7 pm, relax with light refreshments, and have the opportunity to meet this inspirational man who dedicates his life to literacy and education, especially for girls, in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Tickets, which include admission to the reception (limited to 85 attendees) and excellent seats for the presentation,
are being sold through the Marin Center Box Office for $125.
This is a wonderful opportunity to support two worthy organizations: the Central Asia Institute and the Marin County Library Foundation. Please join
