What We Do: The Fairfax Friends work to build a partnership between the Library and the community, to encourage public support for the Library and to advocate for quality library service for all Fairfax Library patrons. The Fairfax Friends sponsor adult/children's programming and provide funding to enhance the materials collection of the Fairfax Library. The Friends of the Fairfax Library is an affiliated chapter of the Friends of the Marin County Free Library.

Iron Springs "Give Back Tuesdays" - Thank You!!!
Thanks to everyone that dined and/or had a pint at Iron Springs Pub & Brewery in Fairfax on July 31st . As a result, we raised over $700. Support the Friends with Scrip Community Loyalty Cards – We are pleased to announce that the Friends of the Fairfax Library is now a part of the Good Earth Natural Foods store community loyalty card program. Good Earth will donate 3% of purchases directly to Friends of the Fairfax Library at the end of each month. Cardholders will need to be present their card each time at the register. If you regularly shop at Good Earth and would like to see the Fairfax Library benefit from that shopping, through the Friends of the Fairfax Library, please send us an email requesting a Friends loyalty card.
Remember that we also participate in the eScrip program which includes two other local markets, Fairfax Market and Mollie Stone's.
Raffle Results:
The Fairfax Friends held its “Friend Raising Raffle” drawing on May 26th. It was our most successful raffle to date, thanks to our raffle participants and the local businesses that supplied our raffle prizes. The raffle would not have been possible without the generous support of our raffle prize donors listed below. These are local businesses that support their community, including our libraries. Please thank them by patronizing their businesses.
