Julian Klugman Memorial: November 1, 2008, supervisor Charles McGlashan, County Library staff and County and Marin City Friends of the Library joined Stella Klugman and her grandson, Devan, in celebrating the life of Julian Klugman. Supervisor McGlashan read a County Proclamation attesting to all of Julian's achievements in Marin City and the county as a whole. Julian's community efforts were many and vaired. Quite a new other members of the community also shared their memories of Julian.

Memorial donations in his memory continue to be used to encourage teens to read and to spruce up the library entrance. Please stop by and see our lovely entrance, the memorial plaque on the rock and the County Proclamation which will be placed inside.
